LAYING DOWN ON A PLATFORM

A modular sofa system inspired by traditional loading pallet, giving rise to the distinctive base detail.

PALLET is a very generously proportioned and extremely comfortable low seating system with a wooden basement reminding a solid platform. Available in a wide range of configurations, with integrated storage and armrests. Produced from CMHR foam over a ply and hardwood basement with solid and veneered oak, this system allows countless of configurations.

Cubical seat, arms and backrest cushions contribute to build personal solutions according to the area of use. The essence of the system is represented by the platform supporting the cushions, symbolizing a pallet on top of which bricks are setting down.

The entire system stands on the platform which is the base for the complementary range of the entire system.

VENEER PLATFORM
Platform in multi-layered veneered in OAK and available in a wide range of finishes. These are thin layers sliced from solid wood of about 0.6 mm thick, glued onto lightweight boards and then covered with clear lacquer. A living material with a natural feel

IRON PLATFORM
Platform in Metal is composed of horizontal beams in rectangular sections matt black painted and cylindrical legs matt black painted or chromed.

UPHOLSTERY
PALLET can be upholstered in a wide range of contract fabrics and eco-leathers and leathers from Spaceform’s standard upholstery collection.

Customer’s Own material – fabrics and leathers – are applicable subject to Spaceform approval after testing the submitted samples

Technical Feautures

  • Type: Sofa system of modular elements. Platform base is made of 50mm thickness multi-layered Oak veneered in several finishes. supported by vertical panelled legs of 50mm thickness multi-layered Oak veneered.
  • Platform Veneer: Multiple perforations to allow seating cushions airflow. Two platforms depth. One flushed to backrest for compact areas. The second with a bigger depth creating a back-shelving system.
  • Platform Metal: Platform made of supporting metal frame composed of beams in rectangular section supported by cylindrical steel legs to floor. Platform frame is black matt painted while legs can also be chromed finished.
  • Seat cushions: Seat cushions made of 200mm thickness high density polyurethane foams with differentiated densities covered with acrylic fibre layers. Inner full-surface bottom wooden frame to allow platform fixing by the meaning of metal connectors
  • Back cushions: Back cushions made of 200mm high density polyurethane foams with differentiated densities covered with acrylic fibre layers. Sectional Inner bottom wooden frame to allow platform fixing by the meaning of metal connectors.
  • Armrests: Armrests made of 200mm high density polyurethane foams with differentiated densities covered with acrylic fibre layers. Sectional Inner bottom wooden frame to allow platform fixing by the meaning of metal connections.
  • Lining: Polyester microfiber bonded onto a polyamide velveteen backing.
  • Integrated tables: Integrated side and middle tables to be used with Metal Platform in multi-layered Oak veneered in several finishes.
  • Power & Data pad: Compact and versatile power system design to fit in a standard 90mm diameter hole. The PAD allows a selective use of the socket or data, thanks to the sliding opening panel.
  • Upholstery: Fabric or leather upholstery, with or without sewn stitching on back cushion only, both removable by zippers or Velcro fastening.

Spaceform offers a large option of metal colors to be applied on our different series of furniture. We propose a selection of finishes based on RAL colors. However, due to our “Genetic”, we are not limited to those selected. Any other RAL color can be customized upon prescription.
